GeneralMusicYears ago I was a musician. College, work, Hawaii, and life in general got in the way of that, and now I feel its time to give it another shot. Over the years I've mumbled to myself, "I should really start piano lessons again" only to get distracted by something else which managed to crowd out that the free time needed to do so. The reason for getting back into music is two-fold; I enjoy it as a hobby, being completely different from my day job and I've also always wanted to create music for my videos; in the past I've just pulled from my personal music library to provide a soundtrack, now I think it would be a nice challenge for myself to provide the music. Like the videos, music is just a creative outlet, I don't do it to get famous, I do it because I enjoy the experience and I figure someone else out there might enjoy it as well.
The wait is over, new videos now! It's been too long friends. Work has kept me busy, and away from working on dustrotter stuff, but I've got 2 videos finished, with many more in the queue. First a little catching up... As I mentioned a few weeks back I'm no longer in Hawaii but have moved to Denver, Colorado. Currently, I'm gearing up for for a fantastic winter in the Rockies; new snow gear, new set of wheels, and some all new adventures on the way. In the meantime I still have tons of video to go through from Hawaii, Laos, and lots of places in between. I'm also planning some trips for next year, I'm thinking about doing 2 pretty large scale events. Things aren't locked down just yet but I think South America will be one and the second is still up in the air. Anyone want to come with? Seriously, I'm looking for a few travel companions, if you're open to trying new foods, don't mind getting a bit dirty and want to experience things most people only see on TV, drop me a line info@dustrotter.com. Lastly, there was a rumor going around that I was dead, probably as a result of the motorcycle thing, I can tell you first hand, I am not. I kinda suck at posting frequently but now that I'm settled and in the rhythm of things this place is going to be a bit busier. Stay Tuned...
Goodbye HiloAfter almost 2 years in Hawaii the time has come for me to move on. Living in Hawaii was something unforgettable, filled with ups and downs and resulted in so many personal changes I think it will take a while for me to even process them all. Next, on to a new destination, I'll post when I'm in and settled. Oh yeah, and my trip to Asia rocked, video forthcoming.
Finally! I'm back - New Video - New Travel PlansSo after more than 3 months of silence I'm back with a new video. A few weeks ago I took a flying lesson from Hawaii Flight Academy, I had a great time and will definitely try and fly over the island again before I leave Hilo. Check out the video here, or you can visit the updated video page for all of my videos so far. Also. Recession be damned, I'm going to Asia (again).
